hi as you gather this is my first post so cut me some slack and i hope you enjoy this blog site.

Hutton will he stay or will he go?

Right lets get down to business. As I'm sure most of you are well aware that Hutton has been more or less shown the door by Paul Lambert, doing this by freezing him out of any first team duties and embarrassingly forcing him to train with the youth development team, which for the record have 16 year olds that know more about the beautiful game than he does. Well some more reports in the national papers have come out today stating that he is now available for a loan move. Full report from GOAL.COM

Hutton can leave Aston Villa on loan, reveals Lambert. The 43-year-old insisted that the Scotland international, who has not featured for the Villains this term, is aware of his position at the club and can speak to others about a move. The Scotland right-back joined the Midlands outfit from Tottenham in 2011, and started 29 games in the Premier League last season.

However, the 27-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the Villains this term, with Eric Lichaj gaining more of first-team exposure after breaking through last season and summer signing Matthew Lowton, who scored against Swansea City on Saturday, also in front of the Scot.

The 43-year-old Villa boss confirmed that the former Rangers man has the all clear to open talks with clubs over a prospective loan move – with Premier League players still able to join teams further down the English football hierarchy on a temporary basis - before insisting the player is aware he is surplus to requirements.

"There could be a chance of him going out on loan," Lambert told reporters.

"I've told him that if there is something there then he can look at it. I've always been honest with him.

"I think that is the best way of being honest with people. He knows the situation."

Villa have made a slow start to the season - losing to West Ham and Everton – however, they have managed to pick up points in their last two fixtures after drawing in Newcastle and beating the Swans at home.

Now looking at this report my personal opinion is that this would be the best option for him, now before anyone accuses me of being a Hutton fan, i am not i live in Dorset so not able to go to as many games as i would like but get at least 5 games per season but i follow villa any way i can, via blogs, websites, birmingham mail.... the list goes on. Anyway i went to a couple of games last season any my opinion is that this bloke is probably the worst right back i have ever seen, not to mention his attitude to playing football. His tackling and positioning is awful and will one day destroy someone's career, someone will say that he is a defender that he is meant to defend, that may be the case but it is his lateness to the tackle and how quickly the red mist descends is his problem. The one thing i will say is that i have met him when he first signed and had a nice chat with him and my personal opinion is that he is one of nicest blokes i have met, he maybe s**te at football but he is a real gentlemen. Finally i have found my favorite video of Alan Huttons best errrrm.....'trait'... enjoy
